HER

I run to her.
The door is unlocked
and inside,
two wide-open wings await me.
All the seasons turn into one
and suddenly, I can smell
the next rain from afar.
Then, I think of deserts, oceans,
starry nights, sunflowers,
the sweetest symphony and a louder whisper
In the desolate forest.
She is everything:
the storm and the silver lining,
the rattling circular saw and the felled trees.
But she is there for me.
I owe her my life.
(that might look like nothing to others)
Un ungrateful always I’ll be
before her magnificent grace.
